I used to play in Byrd park all the time growing up.
I knew it was named after a guy, but I never saw the plaque, and didn't really know the significance.
Where is it?
That's a good question. I believe that it's down by the parking turnaround off of Cedar. But I didn't take the photo; it's linked from another site on the Web.
