Lebo: We're No Sewickley
Mt. Lebanon is no Sewickley, which as we all know is just another middle-class suburb. Read all the way to the bottom of this very strange story from last weekend's Post-Gazette.
(The P-G seemed to go out of its way to draw a demographic connection between Sewickley and Palo Alto, out in the Silicon Valley. I know Palo Alto. Palo Alto is a friend of mine (well, actually, I grew up just next door and used to work there). And believe me, Sewickley is no Palo Alto!)

Actually, Lincoln is a very diverse school. Although there are not many African AMerican students, if you read through the directory, there are many, many japanese students, russian students. There are many students there that speak English as a second language.
Hey, can you please ask Josephine to explain what she meant by "ghetto" in her previous post. Was that a racial thing?
Anonymous,
Sorry for your misperception that it was racial. It wasn't. Like other folks, I would have prefered something else there, but even a tax-paying Dollar General is better than nothing.
