Web Site (and New Sign) For Washington Park

While driving on Washington Road yesterday, I noticed that a new (and bigger) sign has gone up on the Washington Park property. Interestingly, the sign now lists a web site for the project as well.

Quite a difference from the main picture to the thumbnail closeup pictures. 'Views' page shows a building full of Tudor-like details, porches, overhangs, charming courtyard, etc; more-European-looking in a building about 6-7 stories high.
Main picture is two stories taller, closer to street, looking like an apartment building with some faux-Tudor details stuck on top. So which building is it?

The main picture (8 stories) is a recent rendering. The "views" pictures are from early conceptual drawings provided to the Municipality in 2005.

Looks like the school funded public park is nothing more than the doostep of the shops and a sidewalk.

Since the 'views' are early concepts and the building has changed considerably, they should not be using them for marketing purposes as they are misleading to potential buyers.

You're absolutely correct; however,MUNI officials are absolutely delighted, and nothing like this will stand in the way of granting tax bennies, approvals of any/all plan changes, deadline extensions, failures to perform, etc. After all, you must recall the MUNI heavies all said " Something is better than nothing". With that in mind, anything goes in such an enviornment-- just like it did over an 8-year period with the previous developer for this site.

The choice of pictures to represent the project is fully in the purview of the developer.
Caveat emptor!
