Former MTLPA Employee Sues Over Job Lost
The former assistant director of the Mt. Lebanon Parking Authority sued his former employers Wednesday, alleging he lost his job in retaliation for attending public meetings and speaking out about matters of "public importance."
David Egler, 52, of Mt. Lebanon, worked as assistant director for three years before losing his job in June 2006. In his lawsuit, Egler said Mt. Lebanon violated his right to free speech and that the authority owes him $10,127 for unused sick time.
