Lebo Native Plays Puppet Characters In Show
Joshua Landay got the call on the morning of Jan. 10. That evening, he learned, he would be standing on the Benedum Center stage on opening night of Disney's The Lion King. "They said, 'You're going to need to be Timon tonight' and lo and behold I get to open in my hometown," said Mr. Landay, 27, a Mt. Lebanon native.
Timon is one of three characters that Mr. Landay plays as a stand-by in the traveling production that is playing at the Benedum Center through Feb. 17.
