It was nice finally meeting you in person after these years of lurking, then being an anonymous poster and finally, an identified poster! First Friday's remind why I love this community so much.
First Friday was a very nice Community event: Lots of folks & lots of chatter. Almost didn't recognize Mr. Madison, sans Yinzer hat.
Some of the more informative conversations were under the Big Top regarding the High School project. Most notably I was pleased to hear there is no support from the administration to phase the project (and corresponding debt) to maximize the borrowing capacity of the District - sans referendum.
I was sans hat of any kind!
My son had an interesting comment at the end of the couple of hours that we spent at FF: "Dad, you know a lot of people!"
Kudos to the Washington Road merchants and all participants, sponsors, and neighbors for another great FF.
my boys love it, Greg and I love it, it's great for business -- First Friday's are the best. Don't forget there is one more First Friday in October and Uptown Rocks on Oct. 11. Hope to see everyone there.
