Players Lend Hand To Local Projects
The Mt. Lebanon High School football team has been doing more this summer than just gearing up for this season's games. Some of its players have been volunteering throughout the community. About 20 or so players recently volunteered for three separate service projects in Mt. Lebanon.
On two weekends in May, the players helped the Mt. Lebanon Nature Conservancy clean public green spaces. Julia O'Hara, whose son, Connor, is a senior on the football team said another football parent contacted the Nature Conservancy to see if they needed volunteers.
