Couple thoughts:

1. Great to see Matt Kluck running. Matt has been a dedicated part of our community, and particularly the red department, for over 25 years. He understans and appreciates the budget process, the administrative and management policies, the importance of maintaining our fields and parks and he just might know over half of Lebo by their first name. Good luck Matt!

2. Many thanks to Dale Colby for his long tenure of dedicated service. We should name a street after you Dale. Thanks!

Is there another town in the region with so many men named Dale holding or running for public office?

I need a mulligan. Matt has worked in the Rec department - not the red department.

Dan Reig is a hero. Not many guys get shot in the chest with a .44 magnum from 10 feet and live to talk about it.
He comes from a proud family tradition of law enforcement.
This town is fortunate to have folks like Mr. Reig.

Mike and Joe:
Please be certain to use my middle initial (Mary D. Birks)when you are posting information about school board candidates. My wonderful mother-in-law is the original Mary Birks, and I do not wish to create any issues for her as I go through the campaign process. Many thanks!
Also, I agree with Dave Franklin about Matt Kluck. His love of the game of golf is infectious, and he was a wonderful instructor.
Good luck to all of the candidates.

Mary:

Your middle initial has been added to the listing of your name as a school board candidate.

On the School Board - - there are 4 seats open. I am interested to see who cross-registered (if anyone) on both the R and D ballots.

If either ballot (it may be the D ballot) has 4 or less candidates, they get a pass to the November, General Election.

The primary race is only contested if the individual party ballots have more candidates than ultimately available seats. At this point that may only be the R ballot.

All of the candidates for school board cross filed. There will be 7 candidates on each party's ballot.
