Terms of four of the incumbent Mt. Lebanon School Directors expire this year: Alan Silhol, Dan Remely, Mark Hart & Josephine Posti.
Which of these folks, if any, are running for re-election?
Who else is running for their seats? I have heard the names of two possible challengers so far: Mary Birks, and Dale Ostergaard.

I have heard a third name. The Republican endorsed candidates include Remely, Silhol, Ostergaard and one other.
I still get a kick out of party endorsements for school board. My 3 young kids are neither Republican nor Democrat.
And how many good people are we losing out on for this position because they have no desire to play politics (especially when none are really required)?
Just as an FYI, the Mt. Lebanon Democratic Committee is not endorsing candidates for local races but we support all Democrats running for Commission and School Board.
