Mt. Lebanon is a winner in the 10th annual "Best Communities for Music Education" survey, which acknowledges school districts across the nation for support of music education in schools.
Other winners in the Pittsburgh region are Quaker Valley and North Allegheny school districts. A complete list can be found at www.nammfoundation.org.

Why must I use my full name?
When you post a comment on Blog-Lebo, you are making a public statement. Therefore, we require that you accept responsibility for your words. Just like at a public meeting of the school board or municipal government, when you stand to speak on Blog-Lebo, you must state your full name. That way, everyone will know who is speaking, and you will know that you’re responsible for what you say.
It's amazing that a music teacher can get a bunch of 11 year olds in a room with a bunch of noise making objects (maybe never seen by the kids before) and have them playing lovely music at the end of the year. Congratulations to the Lincoln and Jefferson Elementary school bands and the Jefferson Middle School Jazz Band who put on a wonderful show tonight at Mellon Middle School. Mr. Tabler has done an amazing job!
