I very much encourage all MTL neighbors to take a serious look at all the School Board candidates AND come out to vote in the primary.

It is my understanding that all seven candidates have "cross-filed" to appear on both party ballots - so if party is important to you, you won't be able to tell a true "R" from a real "D" without doing some good old homework.

In addition, we may not get a second chance at our decision in the fall general election.

The top 4 vote recipients from each "party" will be on the fall ballot. And if a candidate wins both parties, in the fall their name appears twice, once as a "D" and once as an "R." Votes received on both positions are added together for the final tally.

The next school board may easily be determined in about 5 weeks.

This Primary election is a major big deal.
