A deli, sandwich counter, greengrocer-type place would be great. I'd like to grab lunch quickly sometimes but don't want pizza. Could also grab a loaf of bread and other basics on the way home. Would be really nice.

A couple ideas. People may hate me for saying it, but what about something fun for kids, like an arcade, or whatever the modern equivalent would be. I’d go uptown more if my kids had something fun to do while we were there.

Also, there was a store that sold neat, collectible things in Las Vegas of all places that seemed perfect for Mt. Lebanon dads. Aviation, fishing, boating type models, signs, watches and office decorations. Not just an average antique or jewelry store, which we already have.

The one storefront is next to the Municipal Building. How about "TIFs R Us"? Keep the business uptown, instead of having to go downtown.

Across the street, with that nice covered sidewalk, how about a one stop, "Drive Thru" zoning variance dealer.
