In the Dark (Update 2)
Where I live in northern Mt. Lebanon, the power has been out since Wednesday afternoon's storm. I noticed while driving through Uptown that the power had been restored there. What other areas of Mt. Lebanon are with (or without) power now? Does anybody have an ETA on full restoration of electrical service?

Cedar Blvd. power was restored a little after 2:30 a.m.
There seems to be a power outage every time there's a thunderstorm. Driving around, I can't help but notice how overgrown the trees are around most aboveground power lines.
Utility companies need to prune back trees around power lines -- this should be part of routine maintenance, as it is in most other places where I've lived.

Update: still no power on Dell Avenue.
Also, David (no last name given) reports as of 5 am: "No power this morning on Edward Avenue. Also posted from a cell phone in the dark."
Markham Drive's power was restored at 6:08 a.m.
Still no power on Dell.
I haven't had the courage to open the fridge yet, lest the thermometer inside tell me I must throw out some edible delights I brought home from the vacation in Michigan. Smoked salmon is safe, right?
Power may remain out for some until Sunday

Update: When I returned home from Aldo Coffee (where I had been enjoying both coffee and electricity), the power had been restored to my house on Dell Avenue. According to my server logs, the lights came back on around 2:30 pm.
Mayfair Drive finally got power around 9:30 Thursday night.

Anyone who doubts that these guys are working "around the clock" should come check out the 3 special forces guys who just snuck into my backyard. Wearing miner-style headlamps they're climbing up and down our ridiculously inaccessible electrical pole, hand-sawing limbs and basically doing ninja-like stuff that sane, level-headed people don't do in broad daylight - just so that I can have cold milk and AC.
I'd love to offer them something, but I have nothing to offer. No extra lights, no cold drinks. I just overheard one say this is hour 16 for him. Who ever you are, thanks.
Tom -- I think you're the only person that could/would be able to tell when your power was on based on server logs. Ok...maybe Casey did as well. :)
Dave, I second your comments about the guys from Duquesne Light. They busted their butts on our street for 5 solid hours on Thursday night to help return our neighborhood to civilization. Kudos to the entire team!
According to my server logs, power came back on at 5:53 PM, minus boot time.
FYI, my house is on Miami Ave.
Most of Inglewood Drive back on at 1 or 2 AM. Street and sidewalk still completely blocked.
Part of Osage on around the same time according to friends.
In an interesting turn of developments, it looks like Dell Avenues is again without power :(
The outage on Dell Avenue is over. Checking the logs, it began around 1:15 pm and lasted about two hours.
