The Almanac: Mt. Lebanon expands Citizens' Fire Academy

Mt. Lebanon is expanding its popular Citizens' Fire Academy (CFA) to include the Castle Shannon and Dormont fire departments, their two closest mutual aid providers.

The Mt. Lebanon Fire Department has conducted the CFA for the past seven years, but this year the three fire departments have teamed up for this nine-week public education program.
