Family Finds Body Of Missing Mt. Lebanon Man

An extensive search for a missing Mount Lebanon man ended Wednesday morning when members of his family found his body near a local golf course. Michael Platts, 49, was last seen at his home on Monday. Police said he has a history of memory loss, anxiety and depression due to seizures.

Deputy Police Chief Gene Roach said, "The Mount Lebanon police are continuing the investigation but indications are the circumstances of the death do not appear to be criminal in nature." Investigators with the Allegheny County Medical Examiner's office spent Wednesday afternoon trying to determine the cause of death.
