Zoning Rulings Stall Mt. Lebanon High Renovations
The Mt. Lebanon School District's $113.3 million renovation of its high school has effectively been halted, after the municipality's zoning board denied two variances the school district had requested.
School board president Ed Kubit said at last night's school board meeting that he was "disappointed" in the outcome of Thursday's hearing.

What was also upsetting was when Mr. Kubit said that, without the zoning variance "the project can not continue". Again, the board is trying to make those not paying attention think that this is an all or nothing situation, the same thing they have tried to do with costs. As Mary Birks said, in a letter, this just "adds to the cacophony of mis-information".
