Police in Mt. Lebanon are urging people to be careful when taking money out of automated teller machines after two recent robberies.
The latest robbery happened Monday at the Dollar Bank ATM in the Virginia Manors shopping complex. A man was injured during the robbery, police said.
"It is a scary incident and I think a lot of people are concerned. A lot of people that get Mount Lebanon alerts have been concerned about the story," said resident Nick Roberts.

I wonder if the athletic supporters have become tired of robbing us blind by manipulating the school board?
Dave, - As I mentioned to John Kendrick in a previous posting, is it necessary to make a comment like this? What occurred at the ATMs was a crime and no one should make some kind of humor out of this fact.

Please clarify your comment. I did not make any humor about a crime victim. In fact, I advocated interdiction and support proactive police actions to prevent an incident like this from happening.
If you have become Mr. Franklin's Guardian Angel, fine. But please don't suggest incorrect facts.
John -- I was not inferring that you made humor in your comment in the other posting. If that's the clarification that you were looking for, you got it. Dave Huston's comment was clearly a poor attempt at humor.
I referred to my previous comment to you because I felt it was unnecessary to make the comments that you did because logic says that if Dave Franklin (or anyone else) had knowledge of the crimes that occurred, they would have most certainly reported them to the police.
I have not become Dave's guardian angel in any form or fashion. I just feel it is important to address comments that you and Dave Huston have made regarding these ATM robberies. I would do the same for anyone else.

Kendrick has hijacked otherwise innocent posts about a Kenyan orphanage and a commemorative plate in order to grandstand his myopic view of Mt. Lebanon, so it doesn't surprise me that he would do the same here.
