WPXI: Armed man robs Mt. Lebanon pizza shop, police say

Police are looking for an armed man who robbed a pizza shop early Sunday morning in Mt. Lebanon.

Authorities said a female manager was closing the Vocelli Pizza on Washington Road for the night when an armed man walked in and demanded money.

P-G: Former physician charged with Castle Shannon pharmacy robberies

A former physician was arrested today on charges that he stole Fentanyl, oxycontin and other drugs from a Castle Shannon pharmacy.

Patrick R. Sullivan, 37, of Mount Lebanon, told police he used to work at a West Virginia hospital and was either dismissed or suspended because of drug problems, county police Lt. Jeffrey Korczyk said.

WTAE: Police: Woman Has Purse Stolen While Walking In Mt. Lebanon

A 50-year-old woman had her purse stolen in Mt. Lebanon Friday night after a man threatened he "had a knife," police said.

Mt. Lebanon police Lt. Aaron Lauth said the woman was walking in the 600 block of Washington Road at 9:29 p.m. when the man came from behind and tried to take her purse from her shoulder.

Police said a struggle ensued and the woman fell to the ground.

WPXI: Police: 2 Mt. Lebo ATM Robberies May Be Related

Police in Mt. Lebanon are urging people to be careful when taking money out of automated teller machines after two recent robberies.

The latest robbery happened Monday at the Dollar Bank ATM in the Virginia Manors shopping complex. A man was injured during the robbery, police said.

"It is a scary incident and I think a lot of people are concerned. A lot of people that get Mount Lebanon alerts have been concerned about the story," said resident Nick Roberts.

P-G: Second robbery at ATM reported in Mt. Lebanon

A 64-year-old man was robbed today by a man with a knife after he visited an ATM outside the Dollar Bank in the Virginia Manor Shops on Cochran Road in Mt. Lebanon.

The incident marks the second time in less than a week that a person was robbed at knifepoint at an ATM in the Virginia Manor Shops.

KDKA: Suspect Sought In ATM Robbery In Mt. Lebanon

Authorities are investigating after a knifepoint robbery this morning near an ATM machine in Mount Lebanon.

Police say it happened just before 10 a.m. outside of the PNC Bank in the Virginia Manors Shops on Cochran Road.

Men Charged In Robbery

Two men were arrested last week and charged in a robbery that occurred on Lansdale Place near Cochran Road in Mt. Lebanon last month, police said.

Andrew Ashby, 25, of Sunbury, and Edwin Quinones-Garcia, 21, of South Park, were charged with robbery and criminal conspiracy to commit robbery. The men are charged with robbing a man at gunpoint on Dec. 21 at 7:52 p.m. and taking his guitar, amp, wallet and cell phone.

They are being held at the Allegheny County Jail and will have a hearing Jan. 14.

Man Targeted In Drive-By Gunpoint Robbery In Mt. Lebanon

A man was robbed at gunpoint by two people in a black pickup truck on Cochran Road in Mt. Lebanon, police said.

The victim told police that he was leaving a friend's apartment shortly before 8 p.m. Monday and walking across Cochran to Lansdale Place when the truck pulled up to him and stopped, and the driver got out with a gun.
